RESULTS OF OUR ANNUAL SHOW AND SHINE & CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY - Held on Sunday 7th December 2008

It is with pleasure that we announce the following winners of the 2008 Show & Shine.

Best Full Size Chevrolet – Greg Forster – 1966 Impala Sports Sedan
Best Corvette – Heino Laukart – 2005 C6 Convertible
Best Camaro/Firebird – Keith Flack – 1981 Pontiac GTA
Best Overall – the points came up equal so there are two winners and they are Heino Laukart with his 2005 C6 Convertible and Greg Forster with his 1966 Impala Sports Sedan.

The prizes for these awards were presented at the club presentation night on the 2nd of March. This year the prizes were plates from Sheil Abby. They were engraved on the back. These plates are made out of Silver Alloy and are non-tarnishing. The awards make a very practical trophy, keep it in your trophy cabinet or use as a serving dish.

Our Club Rooms at 3 Edgecombe Court are available to hire for private functions.

The premises are ideal for small parties, sit down dinners or just a social night. The club provides a barman and catering facilities are available as required.

Melbourne to Warrnambool Bike Race Weekend - 'Show Us Your Wheels' -
October 24th & 25th 2009

The Chevrolet Car Clubs' South Western region Subgroup will be holding its annual car show "Chev's on Show" weekend in October again this year, in conjunction with the annual Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic. The last few years have been great weekends, with a bunch of us Melbourne members 'city folks' cruising on down each time for the weekend to join in and put our cars in the display, and enjoying the country hospitality of our South Western region subgroup, and we're still talking about it!
